The Christian Science Reading Room is a community resource centre, a spiritual pit stop, a place to refuel on your spiritual journey, an opportunity to find our more about yourself, and a friendly environment designed to promote mental and spiritual growth.
It is also an inspirational bookshop, specialising in practical Christianity including spiritual healing. It’s a place to read, study or ask questions about healing and the practice of Christian Science and a quiet space in a busy day.

The Christian Science Sentinel (weekly) and Christian Science Journal (monthly) have been published by the Christian Science Publishing Society for over 100 years. They contain up-to-date articles and features of interest to all. Every issue also contains carefully verified testimonies of healing. Current issues can be bought or read. Older issues are often available free of charge. The audio (Radio) edition of the Sentinel is also available on tape.

Foreign language literature
If English isn’t your first language we also have books, magazines and CDs in other languages including French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Greek, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Polish and Czech.
Computer Study tools and online events
The Reading Room computers are free to use, and are set up to be as user-friendly as possible. Concord, the computerised concordances to the Bible and to Mary Baker Eddy’s writings, provides instant access to some of the most profound writings on healing.
The computers also provide high speed internet access to the online communities and study tools at Spirituality.com and the Mary Baker Eddy Library including regular online events and webcasts.

Children are most welcome in the Reading Room; we have a kids area and some inspiring children?s books.
