This week, inspired by the new “Field Websites – Global Collaboration”,  we are improving our website (www.scarboroughchristianscience.org.uk), and we are happy to share our experience with any other Christian Science organizations who may also be interested in improving their websites.

Please bear with us though, we are still setting up the site.

Our first step has been to move the site over to WordPress. WordPress is a powerful blogging platform that can also be used for more basic CMS style sites like ours. One of the big advantages is that post and pages can be edited by anyone without the need to know html, php, css. It is easy to add additional features using plugins.

We are keen to learn from others, so if you have ideas about how we can improve our site please let us know.
